Hello there. I am Frances Ellen.

I read somewhere that you should make yourself interesting; attempt to live a life that is worth writing about. This little space is my personal reinforcement of sorts to do just that.

I was born and raised in a small town somewhere in the Northern Philippines, but I now call Manila my home.

I started ‘online journaling’ in the late 90s, back when the word blog did not exist yet. I suppose that also gives away my age.

These days, I’m crazy about books and food. I can’t say I am a traveler in the ‘real’ sense of the word, but I love seeing new places whenever I can. I sometimes practice yoga asana.

You will mostly find travel and food related stuff in this little space of mine. I will not say anything is a must-do or a must-see, as travel, food, or any kind of life experience is personal and is a matter of preference.  In any case, I hope you will find these posts useful as you plan trips and adventures of your own.
